What types of therapy do you offer?
At Wallish Wellness, we offer a variety of trauma informed therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your specific needs, including solutions-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Our goal is to provide flexible and effective support that helps you navigate life’s challenges and achieve your personal or professional goals.
What can I expect from leadership coaching sessions?
Our leadership coaching focuses on transformational leadership principles, helping you develop the skills and mindset needed to drive meaningful change within your organisation or personal life. We provide tailored coaching to enhance your leadership abilities and achieve impactful results. These usually start with a 50 minute discovery session and then at a minimum 2x 75 minute coaching sessions.
Do you provide therapy for children and adolescents?
Yes, we specialise in therapy for children and adolescents who may be experiencing worries, bullying, anxiety, school refusal, or other developmental challenges. We provide a supportive and understanding environment to help young people build resilience, adopt a positive mindset and achieve their goals. Having experience as a Primary school teacher and having 3 children, Phoebe is passionate about children’s health and welfare and their ability to grow and be the best versions of themselves.
What is your approach to couples and family therapy?
Our couples and family therapy services are designed to improve communication, improve conflict resolution and strengthen relationships. We work with traditional and step & blended families, focusing on building harmony and understanding within the family unit. We also work with separated parents towards building a co-parenting relationship that is centered around the childrens needs.
Do you support the LGBTIQA+ community?
We are allies of the the LGBTIQA+ community and offer inclusive and affirming counseling and/or coaching for individuals within the LGBTIQA+ community, providing a safe space to explore issues related to identity, relationships, personal challenges and/or life goals. Our approach is embedded in empathy and respect for all identities. One of Phoebe’s previous roles was a leadership position for Queerpsace in Melbourne, so she deeply understand issues that are specific to the LGBTIQA+ community.
Are your therapy and coaching sessions available online?
Yes, we offer both online and in-person sessions to ensure accessibility and convenience for all our clients. Our online services provide the same level of care and professionalism as in-person sessions, making it easier for you to access support from anywhere. Our face-to-face services are in and around Adelaide. With availabilty to hold some family sessions in your home depending on your location. Furthemore, Phoebe is very flexible and is happy to walk and talk, sit on the beach and talk, play basketball and talk, go to a cafe or even a playcentre if you have young children! Please reach out if you are in Adelaide and suggest a location and Phoebe will try and make it happen!
Do I need a mental health care plan? Can I get a medicare rebate? Can I pay in cash?
You can absolutly pay in cash if you have an in person session, we also have EFT transfer available and we can invoice your workplace if the session has been approved by your organisation. There is no Medicare rebate, and you do not need a mental heatlh care plan. We have tried to keep the costs of sessions as low as possible to reflect this.
